About this Spot
Barbados is known for its windy conditions, which make it a popular spot for kiteboarding. The best time to visit for wind sports is from December to June or July. While it is possible to practice freestyle kiteboarding on the island, most kiteboarders prefer to ride wave boards. There is only one beach with flatter water that is suitable for kiteboarding, and it is only suitable under certain wind conditions.
