Bar al Hickman Lagoon

The lagoons in the Bar Al Hickman/Al Khaluf area are a kitesurfer's dream, with their turquoise waters, fine white coral sand, and shallow depths even in strong winds of up to 40 knots. These lagoons are protected from the open sea by narrow sandbars, and have one or two narrow entrances. There are three main lagoons within a 30 km radius. The region's comfortable temperatures, even in the summer, are due to the sea breeze preventing the land from becoming too hot.
